Textured hollow vessel, wood species is Mulberry. Vessel size is 7″ high by 5″ diameter. Process used for texturing, from bottom to top. Bottom was created using a Sorby micro spiraling cutter, middle section is a combination of, 1- a cut off wheel & Dremel 2- a 3/16″ diameter ball carbide burr that was ground smooth so the effect would be a hammered look, cutter was mounted in a reciprocating carver. 3- top section produced using a Sorby 330 texturing cutter at about 45 degrees.
