On this woodturning course for bowl turners, you will have the opportunity to delve deeper into the art of bowl turning under the expert guidance of Martin Saban-Smith.
Throughout the course, Martin will cover an extensive range of topics to help you refine your bowl turning skills. Not only will he discuss bevel angles, mounting options, proportions, and common problems, but he will also share his wealth of knowledge on selecting the right wood and tools for the job.
You will have ample time to practice these techniques under Martin’s watchful eye and receive personalised feedback and tips for improvement. With his relaxed teaching style, you can be assured of a comfortable and enjoyable learning experience.
In addition to the practical aspects, Martin will provide comprehensive course notes that will be emailed to you after the course. These notes are ideal for future reference, ensuring that you can continue honing your bowl turning skills long after the course has ended.
By the end of the day, not only will you take home a beautifully crafted bowl that you have created, but you will also leave with a newfound confidence and fresh knowledge to further explore and apply at your own pace. How To Book:

- Indicate the name(s) of the person(s) coming.
It is very helpful for us to know who is coming on the day, especially if the course is a gift.
- Confirm that those being booked consider themselves intermediate turners

- A non-refundable deposit of £50.00 per person is due at the time of booking unless you are booking within 14 days of the course in which case, the full balance is due. After deposit payment has been made, an invoice for the balance will be sent which will be due no less than 14 days prior to the course. See our Terms and Conditions for full details.
- After payment, we will send you all the information you need to join the course on the date you booked.
- If there are fewer people than the required minimum for your course to run, we will contact you and offer you an alternative date or a full refund.
