Tool Information

>

Whilst there is no requirement to bring your own tools, particularly on our Experience Days, we do recommend you bring your own tools on this course that are appropriate to what you wish to learn on the day.

Any tool that you do not have of your own, we are able to provide for you. For this course, we recommend you bring a bowl gouge (3/8" is fine), spindle gouge and a parting tool or Les Thorne's multi-purpose tool if you have one. There is no need to bring anything else.

By bringing your own tools, you will have a better learning experience as you are using tools you are familiar with. We can also have a look at them and give any advice on sharpening we feel would be beneficial for you.
