Product Description

We’ll kick off the day with a vibrant meet and greet session in our cosy coffee shop, setting the stage for the creative day ahead.

At the workshop, you can unleash your creativity by crafting a wide-rim platter measuring about 12″ (300mm). Martin will be there to guide and inspire you. He will demonstrate top-notch techniques for turning and finishing the platter to a perfect standard for airbrushing.

While there may not be enough time to create a piece exactly like the course illustration, you will be able to create a piece reflecting your unique style and creative flair.

Once the decorating process is complete, we’ll return to the lathe with our pieces, putting the finishing touches on our creations. The day should end around 4.00pm with your work complete – but be prepared for it to run over slightly!

Please Note: Some experience of woodturning would be helpful for this course, but not necessary. Martin will be able to help out with the turning.

Your Day Includes:

  • Use of machinery
  • Use of Tools (Each student has their own set of tools, airbrush and colour sets)
