This is a bowl of pine, wenge and paduak 10” x 4” some natural edge left in place. This bowl although a failure is a success in as much as I learned some valuable lessons the biggest being ‘keep the darn dust out of the open pores of the pine’ or perhaps choose a tighter grained timber like maple. In any case I like the concept and I will do more like this but choose the woods with more care. Had fun with this challenge made two others that were posted not as part of the challenge but just to show some of my work. Cheers!
