Enjoyed John’s demo last night, here is my effort an 8″ x 2″Elm bowl I did last year with a pewter rim and handles. I cut a dovetail at each side of the bowl and cast the handles to suit. If the pewter becomes too hot you get “Blow holes” which often results in re-melting and re-casting.
