I know that I’m seriously pushing my luck now, but this month’s theme has got me on a role, so here’s my 4th effort.
I used a 14’” diameter sycamore blank and a combination of turning, texturing and carving, coupled with some colouring using Intrinsic Stone Blue and Flame and a final touch of Silver Gilt Cream.
I’m really quite pleased with the outcome, particularly the bronzy or coppery finished that emerged.
